AeroCamp in Mielec is a place where pilots can learn aerobatics under the supervision of World Champions. So far, we have already organised 2 editions in 2022 and 2023 with World Champions such as Maciej Kulaszewski, Łukasz Czepiela and Maciej Pospieszyński.

What does a typical programme for such an event look like? In addition to many conversations between pilots and instructors in the hangar or the opportunity to interact with unique aircraft (such as the TS-11 or Iryda), there is also theoretical and practical training. Days with poorer weather are used for ground training and briefings, and those with a suitable cloud base for flying.

Each participant completes 3 flights in the area, 20 minutes each, on an Extra 300L (SP-IZA)aircraft – this is optimal so that everyone can apply the knowledge learnt during the briefing on the ground and practice selected figures several times, or even combine them into a full sequence. It is also worth mentioning that the area is designated directly over the airfield, so there was no need to waste time flying in.
